The Turtle (also called "The Dragon" or "The Pyramid") is the original and most iconic Mahjong Solitaire layout. Created by Brodie Lockard in 1981, this 5-layer pyramid shape has been the default layout in virtually every Mahjong Solitaire game ever made.
Start by clearing the two side tiles and the cap tile on top. Work from the highest layer down. The wide base rows at the top and bottom often contain trapped tiles โ prioritize uncovering them early.
Click or tap two matching free tiles to remove them. A tile is free when nothing is on top of it and at least one side is open. Match all 144 tiles to win. Use Hint if you're stuck, Shuffle to rearrange remaining tiles, or Undo to take back a move.
